De-collage
De-collage is a fascinating technique that captivated me from the very first time I encountered it. Creating de-collages feels like an adventure — a process that always leads somewhere unknown and unpredictable.
For me, de-collage is a way to show my world, my life, my thoughts, and my emotions.
Below, you can see a selection of works created in this technique that are currently available. Some of these works have been exhibited in galleries in Tokyo.
I create my works using old and vintage newspapers, magazines, and posters that I find at flea markets, specialized shops in Tokyo, and during my travels around Japan.
Sometimes I combine these materials with my own photographs, which allows me to express the meaning and idea behind each work more clearly.
